Preparing for Christmas

I spent the better part of this morning online: searching for an artificial Colorado Blue Spruce (or Picea pungens), ornaments, and unique holiday gifts. What follows is a gallery of my purchases.

I’ve never had a Christmas tree of my own. And I’ve been living on my own for more than ten years! Of course we had one growing up. But, it’s not the same somehow. It’s taken me a while to get back into the Christmas spirit, I suppose. So you can understand if I spent way more than I should have done in making this holiday season right.

Perhaps a part of me is trying to recreate a time in my life when anything and everything was possible.
